En janvier, j'avais pris la résolution d'écouter beaucoup de jazz en 2012 et plus précisément d'explorer à fond le catalogue d'Impulse ainsi que ceux d'artistes comme Ornette Coleman, Archie Shepp, Albert Ayler et Phil Cohran, bref du sérieux et du costaud.
Comme vous l'avez constaté, j'ai plutôt commencé mon année dans le disco québécois O_o. J'étais donc très heureux ce dimanche, quand j'ai trouvé ce disque qui m'a ramené dans le droit chemin. Un superbe disque de Gospel Jazz, made in Montréal pendant les années 1970. Comme les notes de la pochette expliquent bien le tout, je vous laisse les lire en écoutant la superbe Trying Time. Régalez-vous !

Ça ressemble pas mal à ça .. mais cette chanson est franchement la meilleure. Ma copie est légèrement warpée et difficile à numériser avec ma petite table portative cheap, sinon j'en aurais mis davantage.

While I understand and respect your decision not to upload the whole record, on the other hand it's an unbearable tease. Especially with such great music, which can't be found and bought practically anywhere. In view of that, why don't you make an exception and post all the songs. I have no doubt you'd be doing a lot of music lovers a big favour indeed. As it is, being left with one song froman undoubtedly magnificent album, well, it just make one's blood to boil.

Thanks for your comment. Sadly, my copy is slightly warped. It sound ok on my main soundsystem, but you can hear the warping with the numark I use for transfering records. Anyway, I'll try to transfer a couple more songs and i'll put post them this week-end.
